As soon as the camera detects movement, it immediately starts recording for 30 seconds and sends a notification to your smartphone. You can directly view the live images, speak with your visitor, activate the built-in 110dB siren via the app and watch the recorded images or download for free.

The Somfy Outdoor camera is easy to connect to your outdoor lighting. As soon as the camera detects motion, the outdoor lighting switches on. You can also operate your outdoor lighting via the app or set it to turn on automatically at dusk.
The Somfy Outdoor camera can be installed in 3 different ways so that it can be used in any situation:
1. Connect the camera directly to the mains cable which is now used for the outdoor lighting, for example.
2. Connect the camera to your existing outdoor lighting. The advantage of this is that the camera and your outdoor lighting work together. If movement is detected, your lighting will immediately switch on. You can also control your lighting via the app.
3. Connect directly to a power outlet. Plug not included.
Our external WiFi cameras come with a nifty smart activation function. When you arrive back home, the system will recognise you and switch itself off. And if you pop out again, you’ll get a reminder via the Somfy Protect app to re-activate the camera. Safe and sound always!
