Your blinds will go down in time to protect your furnishings and stop your home from getting too hot. The Sunis wireless sun sensor monitors the intensity of the light on your wall. When the sensor detects sunlight, it operates the blinds and/or awning. The screen or shutter will be extended or come down automatically. If it clouds over again, then after some time, the awning will automatically retract and the shutters will go back up.
The wireless wind sensor works in conjunction with the sun sensor. Once fitted onto the wall, it will protect your awning when the wind gets up. In strong winds, the Eolis wind sensor will retract the awning or canopy in time to prevent any damage. What’s more, if the sun comes out while the wind is still blowing, the awning will stay retracted. The built-in awning protection system continually monitors the conditions until the wind has dropped sufficiently. The system takes account of fluctuations in the weather so the awning doesn’t keep extending and retracting. The popular Eolis 3D motion sensor is specifically designed for use with patio awnings. It responds to vibrations in the frame. If the threshold setting is exceeded, the awning retracts automatically, so you can relax.
The system has room for further expansion with accessories such as a temperature sensor, a rain sensor and outdoor lighting. It can also be connected to the Somfy Smart Home system: TaHoma®.
