The Human Factor - daylight for health, well-being and productivity in offices

Managing thermal comfort

The average outside temperature is increasing and there is a real risk of buildings overheating.

The result suggests that around 2% of office hours are wasted due to the temperature alone, say the research commissioners, potentially costing the UK economy more than £13 billion annually*.
