There is a whole range of Somfy motors. Each is specially designed to suit the equipment it drives.

  - an awning motor runs smoothly so as not to damage the fabric, 
  - a roller shutter motor stops automatically if it encounters an obstacle,

  - a garage door motor is equipped with obstacle detection,  
  - a gate motor resists any attempt to force it open,  
  - etc...

5 year warranty logo Somfy offers its professional customers (installers, manufacturers, etc.) a five-year guarantee on its motors and automatic systems*, starting from their date of manufacture. This is offered in the context of conditions clearly set out for professionals. Ask your installer about it.


*Not including motors and automatic systems for gates, which have a 3 year guarantee.		 NF Somfy drive units comply with European and French safety standards. Motors for roller shutters and outdoor or indoor blinds meet the NF electricity standard issued by AFNOR. Motors for gates and garage doors meet standards EN 60335-2-95, EN 13 241 and NF P 25-362.
